We are very sorry that we had to hold the LAN a week before the 26th January. The church told us to move the date.

I really think it was a bad idea that you had the lan at the last minute... i really wanted to take part in the COD4 tournament. I more than sure i would have been in the top three.

Hi everyone

This was unfortunatly a small LAN with only 20 Players. We do apologise to everyone who couldn't attend this LAN due to the last minute changing of the date. We will try not to let this happen again. And sorry for having to end the LAN early, but you know what Eskom is like.

We had our first Call of Duty4 Tournament at this event and the results were as follows:
1st Place:    Dan_The_Man
2nd Place:   Masterouter
3rd Place:    Plaque
4th Place:    Jackhal
The tournament came to a nail biting finish and at the end of the day after Dan_The_Man had accumulated almost 400 kills he beat Masterouter by only ONE kill. Well done to all of those who took part in the tournament.

This LAN also showed the start of our points system wherein players can earn and receive points for taking part in things at the LAN and then spend them at the Tuckshop and use the points for free entrance. A lot of enthusiasm was shown by the players and it looks like this will become a permanent feature at the LAN.

See you all next month for the Counter-Strike Source tournament and lets see if the format of the new program will be successful.

Cheers

Hi guys.

Can't believe how fast this year has gone. We had a very successful lan with 38 people attending. We also had our very first DOTA tournament which was very successful with 6 teams participating. The winning team was team IGNITE who each got 3 Thermaltake banners and R 100 each.

The main games played at this event was DOTA, mostly because of the tournament, Cod 4, Cod 2 and CSS. There was also a few people who played UT 2004.  There was  a complaint about there not being enough interesting games played. Unfortunalely we cannot force anyone to play any game. If you want to play a certain game it will be mostly up to you to gather enough players to play that game.

Please note that the entrance to our LAN is changing from 2008 to R80 per person which will include a free tournament and prizes to be won.

Cheers everyone
Hope to see you at our next LAN !!!
